This is the first step of your commission booking process.
By purchasing this non-refundable pre deposit, you have selected September 2026 as the month your commission will be started.
All artworks are professionally framed in an American Ash shadow box frame, a sustainable Oak alternative. If you would like an alternative option, please contact Kate prior to booking to discuss.

Payment Information
Your $200 commission booking payment will temporarily hold your commission spot for this month.
To finalise your booking you will have to decide on the size of your commission. Kate will contact you via email. You will then receive a booking deposit invoice minus $200 (commission booking) to secure your booking. This is 30% of the total commission price.
The final balance will be payable within 7 days of completion of your commission. You will receive this via email. This is the remaining 70% of your total commission price.
Image References
Image inspiration for your commission piece will need to be confirmed the month prior to painting.
This may be one image, or a combination of images that you can discuss with Kate. Please email images to kate@katemarshallstudio.com.au or send via Instagram.
Failure to supply images before the required time may push your booking to the end of the following month.
Shipping and Packaging
The price of insured postage Australia wide is already included in your commission booking price.
Smaller pieces under 1m will be sent via Australia Post.
Larger pieces exceeding 1m will be sent via Courier.
For international customers, please enquire via email before purchasing. Additional international fees will be charged.
Timeframe
The timeframe of completion for your work will depend on a combination of factors, with size being the main one.
Typically your work will take a couple of weeks to paint. The month you have selected is the starting time, not the completion time however, often artworks will be completed close to this time.
Postage time is additional to this timeframe.
If you need your work completed by a particular date, please communicate with Kate prior to booking your work in.
Commissions
Every painting that leaves my studio is a one of a kind original.
Each piece is painted by hand using an intuitive colour palette drawn from the Australian landscapes I live and breathe every day. It is sealed, carefully packaged and sent to you with a certificate of authenticity and a whole lot of love.
